Custom Screen Designer allows you to modify existing screens
or create new database screens to suit your needs. These
changes can be made by the user, without the need for specialist
IT expertise, freeing up valuable resources and providing
you with a customisable solution at no additional cost.
Archive
Personnel
Director comes with a comprehensive Archive enabling you
to store complete records of past employees. These can
be retrieved easily and reinstated, if required. You can
generate letters directly from the Archive and report on
data stored in the Archive datbase in the same way as you
work with data stored in your main database.
Analysis
and Reporting Tools
Produce
informative reports, charts and graphs instantly with Personnel
Director's integrated graphing module and Report Builder.
The system comes with over 170 pre-defined graphs and reports
allowing data to be quickly analysed in graphical or text
format. Unlimited additional reports and graphs can be
created and modified using the Report Builder and Graph
Wizard and layouts edited with the help of the Page Designer.
You can use the cross tab report feature to create more
detailed analysis of your data and for extra flexibility,
output report results in text format for easy import into
other windows applications.
Personnel
Director has also been designed to work with Seagate Crystal
Reports to add another level to your reporting requirements.
Integrated
Word Processor
Personnel
Director comes with over 30 standard employment letter
and contract templates. These templates are ready to use
or can be easily modified to meet your requirements. You
can add unlimited letter templates or generate existingletters
using the internal word processor or Microsoft Word. Any
letter or document created using Personnel Director can
be generated for individuals, groups of employees, or to
all staff - mail merging and managing staff correspondence
could not be easier!
Global
Input/Batch Update
Eliminate
duplication of data entry by using the Batch Update and
Global Input functions. Implementing a pay increase or
creating training records for a group of employees who
have attended the same course is simple with the in-built
Wizards guiding you through each stage of the process.
Import/Export
Personnel
Director allows you to import employee data from spreadsheets,
payrolls and other databases minimising data entry. Data
can be imported directly into Personnel Director in csv
or tab delimited format. Exporting is straight forward
with "single button" export to Microsoft Excel or you can
output data to file or HTML. If you already use Personnel
Manger there is an automatic upgrade that migrates your
data and standard reports and standard letter templates
saving time and removing the need to re-enter information.
In-built
Diary
Users
can track important dates and automate task management
in the built-in diary or use Microsoft Outlook. Diary events
can be automatically triggered from most fields in the
software ensuring key employee dates are never missed again.
Powerful
Security
With
Personnel Director you get the benefit of enhanced client
server security not possible in desktop databases. Different
levels of access to fields, screens and databases can be
controlled for every user and the administrator decides
whether users can view only or modify information held.
The comprehensive audit trail allows users to monitor use
of the system putting you in control at every stage. It
will notify you if security breaches have occurred and
when these took place.
