KEY FEATURES
Under
the guidelines laid down in the Working Time Directive,
which came into effect on 1st October 1998, employers must
now keep detailed records of hours worked, breaks taken
and other working time data for all employees covered by
the legislation.
Working Time Tracker has been designed to reduce the administrative
burden created by the regulations. It is specially programmed
to highlight breaches or potential breaches of the legislation
as and when they occur, not months after the event when
it is not always possible to rectify the situation.
Working
Time Tracker...
- Keeps
a detailed archive of the hours worked by every employee,
even those no longer employed by the organisation.
- Generates
standard reports to calculate the average weekly hours
worked over any 17 week period for any employee or group
of employees.
- E-mails
you automatically when an employee...
-works more than 48 hours in any week
-has not taken a break in a 6 hour work period
-has worked more than 11 hours in a 24 hour period
Flexible Configuration
Working
Time Tracker can be configured to suit most work environments
including complex pay, over-time and flexitime rules:
- Define up to 999 work period types with unlimited over-time
rules
- Caters for night shifts
- Specify up to 999 different pay categories
- Flexi-time and shift rota ready
- Comprehensive Control
The
powerful Administrator program allows users to monitor
time data in real time. Users can define different access
levels for administrators (Multi-user versions only) and
the automatic end of day clock-out and auto lunch start/finish
ensures every event is recorded. You can pre-set holiday
and sickness allowances and track employees' time taken
against their allowances with automatic update of employees'
absence records.
Easy Links to Other Products
Working
Time Tracker comes complete with an ODBC interface and
you can expand the functionality of using any ActiveX compatible
development tools. The software comes with a generic payroll
scripting tool and standard interfaces to the most common
payroll applications. You can transfer employee data directly
from other Vizual products including Visual Personnel and
Personnel Manager.
Clock-in/out using PC’s
Employees
can clock in and out, log breaks and specify which jobs
they are working on from their own PC's - Working Time
Tracker can even be configured to automatically clock an
employee on/off when they switch on/off their PC. In a
group environment groups of users can clock-in/out using
one PC. Users record their time using the Remote Clock-in
Utility running on their PC which, in turn, updates the
Working Time Tracker server across a LAN or WAN.
Powerful Reporting
Working
Time Tracker comes with a range of standard reports and
using Crystal Reports (available separately) you can create
unlimited additional reports. There is full absence recording
and analysis with week, month and year summaries for every
employee. And there are over 50 breaches of the work rules
which can be identified by exception and automatically
sent by Email to the Administrator - for example, when
an employee arrives more than 15 minutes late.
Easy to Upgrade
All
products can be upgraded as your business grows. You can
use up to 255 dedicated data capture terminals with every
version of Working Time Tracker including bar-code, or
magnetic swipe or proximity readers. These hardware options
can be added at any stage and it is possible to combine
dedicated terminal and PC-based data collection.
Absence Tracking
Keep
a full record on all employees absence from the work place.
Define holiday and sickness allowances for every employee
and automatically build a running total of sick and holiday
time. Use the report writer to identify lateness trends,
attendance and absence.
In-built Messaging
There
is built-in messaging allowing the administrator to send
messages to employees via the clock-in hardware or Remote
Clock-in Utility to be received by the employee when they
next clock-in/out.
